{"id":43,"date":"2023-03-23T17:51:54","date_gmt":"2023-03-23T17:51:54","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/dbhds.virginia.gov\/facilities\/pgh\/?page_id=43"},"modified":"2023-04-18T18:01:29","modified_gmt":"2023-04-18T18:01:29","slug":"information-for-families","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/dbhds.virginia.gov\/facilities\/pgh\/information-for-families\/","title":{"rendered":"Information for Families"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#3f3f3f\">PGH welcomes in-person visitors; however, we strongly encourage an appointment be made in advance.&nbsp;Each appointment will be 45 minutes in duration.&nbsp;&nbsp;Walk-in visitors are also welcome as long as there is availability on the schedule.&nbsp;&nbsp;Priority will be given to those who have scheduled appointments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-b71576bcb81bc06bb8c18dfc831d71ba\" style=\"color:#3f3f3f\">We do ask that if you are exhibiting signs of illness, contact the patient\u2019s social worker and set up a video-visitation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-0d71e5cde5f95a9bef3ef765adada478\" style=\"color:#3f3f3f\">No food or drink is to be consumed by the patient or visitors during the visit.&nbsp;&nbsp;Visitors may bring commercially packaged snack foods and drink items and leave them for patients. Be mindful of the amount as we have limited storage space.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-5579192d8d965ebdae7ad82e018631d8\" style=\"color:#3f3f3f\">Visitors will need a photo ID with them for checking in at which time they will be screened by security prior to being escorted to the visitation area.&nbsp;&nbsp;Visitors are only allowed to have keys and cell phones with them during the visit.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-text-color\" style=\"color:#3f3f3f\">Visiting hours are from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (last appointment at 4:00 p.m.) daily.&nbsp;&nbsp;To schedule an appointment to visit PGH, please call 434-767-4401 or 804-766-3392.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>PGH welcomes in-person visitors; however, we strongly encourage an appointment be made in advance.&nbsp;Each appointment will be 45 minutes in duration.&nbsp;&nbsp;Walk-in visitors are also welcome as long as there is availability on the schedule.&nbsp;&nbsp;Priority will be given to those who have scheduled appointments.
